ARM announced Cortex-A7 and big.LITTLE architecture to share it

Now most of the powerful mobile processors are based on Cortex A15 and above
Which delivers more speed and best performance .

Recently ARM launched new Cortex A7 for those who need more battery life .
This is a 28nm based core when compared to 45nm Cortex A8 and
ARM says that it can deliver same performance as today's high end processors
While consuming 60% less battery life .

ARM paired this power chip with the very same Cortex A15 and the architecture

is named as big.LITTLE architecture since it contains most powerful big A15 and
more efficient LITTLE A7 together which automatically switches between the A15 and A7
as required to give maximum performance and power efficiency depending on the load

It said that big.LITTLE won't come until it releases 2nd GEN Cortex A15
This architecture may cost more bucks as you want to get two processors

But we may get this Cortex-A7 in medium range smart phones .
